Our Teachers
Ms. Kim, Director/Teacher
An early childhood educator (ECE) for over 20 years, Ms. Kim Milus has worked in Marin and Sonoma Counties as a teacher, family advocate, and program director.
Ms. Kim received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and recently earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a second Master’s in Management and Leadership. She holds a Program Director Permit from the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing.
Ms. Kim considers herself a lifelong learner and continues to immerse herself in training opportunities. These opportunities have included completing the Raising a Reader Facilitator Training, Learning Without Tears Readiness and Writing training for Pre-K, as well as leadership training through the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundation of Early Learning (CSEFEL), implementing Teaching Pyramid Model concepts which promote social and emotional competence in young children.
As a director, Ms. Kim specializes in developing partnerships to promote program enhancement, curriculum development and alignment, and mentoring teachers.
She holds a deep-rooted commitment to support the whole child through project- and play-based curriculum and seeks to embrace every teachable moment. Ms. Kim is passionate about providing a nurturing environment where each child feels important, loved, and accepted, and where their love of learning is fostered.
Ms. Kim lives in Rohnert Park with her two children, cat, and two dogs.
Ms. Anna, Teacher
Ms. Anna Rossi has been teaching in various capacities for over 15 years, primarily at the preschool and elementary levels. Her experiences have taught her that a collaborative community fosters a successful learning environment.
She values the collaborative approach to teaching the whole child through direct engagement in the classroom with their families, learning and playing together. She brings with her a passion for outdoor education and an appreciation for music.
Ms. Anna also considers herself a lifelong learner and continues to enrich her knowledge in Early Childhood Education studies. Ms. Anna earned her Masters in Teaching, focusing on multiple subjects and becoming certified in both Guided Language Acquisition Development (GLAD) and SPARK curricula methods. She also holds a Child Development Teacher Permit.
Ms. Anna strongly believes in letting children guide her in their play and teaching them to foster their own sense of self-confidence and independence. In her own time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, building puzzles, and having dance parties with her husband, two kids, and her dog.
